Ryan Gosling - Lars and the Real Girl : Saw this film recently and afterwards, actor Ryan Gosling (who is brilliant in this film and Half Nelson, another of my favorites!) was interviewed by the NY Times critic (the woman). The man with them is the film's director - he was brilliant  and the film is beautiful - a deep story with much humor, and handled so delicately.

Grand Central Station NYC : I took this on the way home. While I'm from NYC, I haven't worked here in more than 10 years on a daily basis, so I've been exploring it with tourist's eyes. This shot, during the height of rush hour, reminds me of why I love the city. Things are always moving, but there is beauty all around us here. When I was a little girl, I remember being in the station with my family for a day in the city. With the ceiling completely restored, I sometimes feel like I'm an 8 year old kid again, in awe of the beauty and grandeur of the place.

Radio City bus - reflections part 2 : So I wanted to take a photo, on my way home from work, of the Radio City sign all lit up. I managed to capture it reflecting off of a bus that was at a red light. I like that it is an unexpected way to see the sign I walk by daily.

City lights and reflections part 1 : Took this on the way home from work. Walk by Radio City every day as well as Rockefeller Center. This is a reflection of one of the Radio City signs off of the "Top of the Rock" tourist blitz...along with a bunch of TV screens with many moving images. I love the way they all blended, reflected and created some city eye candy.

Costa Rica sunset : This is near Quepos, on the west coast of Costa Rica. One night after another, the sunset was just more beautiful than the previous one!

Tyler Florence, Sarah and me : This was at the Wine and Food Expo in Westchester County, NY - I am a big Tyler Florence fan (I love to cook and I love his easy, gentle style). And yes, he was lovely in person.
